Some of the sports photographed have only been covered once as they perhaps coincided with visiting a place while on holiday, such as Beach Volleyball in Tenerife and Raceboard competitions at the Mar Menor in Spain. Also Rugby, Highland Games
have only been covered once for similar reasons. Canoeing at Grantully Scotland is a great action sport with scope to capture competitors battling hard against the fast flowing rapids.
Waterskiing at Townhill Loch Dunfermline is also fun to photograph, it is fast but capturing the action in tight turns and the resulting spray created by the water makes for an interesting photograph.
The football photographs have been taken at East End Park, the home ground of Dunfermline Athletic Football Club (DAFC). They have only been taken from the terraces with a compact camera but it has been fun trying to catch the action.
There is a gallery titled Extreme Bridge Jumping strictly; which is not strictly a sport. While visiting Pitlochry I came across John Bream practicing for a World Record connected with jumping from an aircraft into water. The record was achieved helped by him perfecting his technique jumping from a bridge into the icy waters of Lock Fascally.
